A rifle cartridge developed in 2007 by American companies Marlin Firearms and Hornady for the lever-action hunting rifles Marlin Model 308MX and Marlin Model 308MXLR. It is based on the .307 Winchester and was designed to reproduce that cartridge’s high ballistic performance.
